Remote Lodge Based Tours
For those
of you who would like all the comforts of home while you
enjoy great bear viewing, halibut and salmon fishing, kayaking and
hiking, we would like to suggest a remote lodge experience. We offer
many options including full service with all the amenities, meals,
guides, fish preparation, sightseeing, birding and kayaking. You might
prefer to bring your own food and just use the cabins for your home
base. We can also make tent camping a little easier by supplying the
tent and your food as well. The bear viewing is very good, the kayaking
is great and the food is Alaska's best. The lodge is located across Cook
Inlet from Homer near Lake Clark National Park. The scenery is fantastic
and provides wonderful backdrops for your photos of bears, eagles,
puffins, murres, kittiwakes, oystercatchers, maybe a fox. There is also
a wonderful side trip to "Fossil Point" which is a beach with Jurassic
era fossils "all over the place". We have power boats and four wheelers
for accessing a lot of terrain. Come on and join us. It should be great.
